{"id":241,"date":"2005-02-16T07:11:00","date_gmt":"2005-02-16T07:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hgmiller.com\/wp\/?p=241"},"modified":"2013-10-06T20:41:00","modified_gmt":"2013-10-06T20:41:00","slug":"v-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hgmiller.com\/wp\/2005\/02\/16\/v-day\/","title":{"rendered":"V-Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So, this is the first Valentine&#8217;s Day in quite some time that I wasn&#8217;t either stuck at home feeling bitter about how alone I was in the world, or attending some &#8220;anti-valentine&#8221; party with a group of other bitter, single people and recent-divorcees.<\/p>\n<p>Tonight, I have polished off what was left of a frozen cherry-cheesecake and I am feeling a completely different kind of terrible.<\/p>\n<p>I must say, the queasy, ill-tempered gurgling of a too-full stomach packed with fat grams and sugar is way better than the terrifying empty I had grown so accustomed to most nights. I&#8217;m enjoying phone calls and giggles in a way I never thought I would.<\/p>\n<p>Sorry to all the single people out there.
