Went out dancing last night and had a revelation.
Now, I’m not exactly what you would call a “hip-hop” guy to begin with, but I do enjoy the occassional bit of lyrical poetry. However, I suddenly realized that most of these songs are nothing more than instructions:
Stand up…
Throw your hands in the air…
Drop it like it’s hot…
Lean back…
So, is it me or is rap music just square dancing for the urban crowd?
